Positive and Negative Space

First graders learned about positive and negative space by doing these easy cut-outs. Simple fold a square in half and cut on the folded side...voila!

      I did a different project today using chalk pastels. When I made the example, the girls were ooo-ing and ahhh-ing. I'll post it soon.
